CAMP, Recreational Vehicle Company and Recreational Vehicle Manufacturers

Camping for America's Motivated People (C.A.M.P.) Technologies is a recreational vehicle company that was founded in response to requests to create a mobile, rugged, all-terrain camping trailer system that provides all of the amenities of a traditional recreational vehicle without its limitations.

The resulting product is the RTV Camper, a unique, one-of-a-kind recreational shelter and trailer combination that includes a 16" high clearance for on and off road towing, is durable and insulated enough to withstand extreme temperature conditions, is extremely lightweight, and includes all the comforts of home; such as fresh water, power, storage space, a complete galley kitchen, and plenty of room.

Unlike other recreational vehicle manufacturer's, C.A.M.P. built its shelters using the same state-of-the-art military technologies that are used by its holding company - military and homeland security shelter and emergency medical products company DHS Technologies. The advanced technology allows the RTV Camper to feature an attached double cover design with an advanced composite supporting frame made from Titanite, a space age composite with 270 percent more flex strength than aluminum. This unique design provides the durability, protection and insulation of a portable building, but can be set up within as little as ten minutes, allowing for a unique outdoor wilderness experience.

The C.A.M.P. Technologies recreational vehicle company also utilizes the newest technologies from recreational vehicle manufacturers. While traditional automotive applications use only single sheet molded plastics, the exterior of the RTV Camper is constructed of steel gull wing doors covered with twin sheet thermoform plastic as the outer shell.  Because of its unique design, the RTV Camper recently received both the People's Choice Award and the Twin Sheet category award at the 2007 Thermoforming Division Conference in Cincinnati. The judges felt that the RTV Camper, which is comprised of 11 twin sheet molds forming the trailer body panels, was the most impressive combination of functionality and design at the conference.

Although relatively new to the market, the all-terrain camping trailer has also drawn nods from well-known outdoor retail stores, and been featured in various prominent sporting magazines such as Field & Stream magazine’s “2006 Best of the Best Awards,” and in Shooting Sportsman magazine.

We can't wait to see what will happen next.
