RTV Camper A Hit At 2008 SHOT Show
Orangeburg, NY -- Despite being relatively new to the market, C.A.M.P. Technologies' RTV Camper generated much interest during the 2008 SHOT show held in Las Vegas this year. The show, which was held between February 2 - 5 , is the shooting, hunting and outdoor industry's largest annual trade show in the United States. Despite the fact that the dates for the Super Bowl coincided with the show, interest in the RTV Camper did not waver. The display booth (shown right), which included a medium, fully-loaded RTV Camper, received thousands of interested visitors.
"We couldn't keep up with all the traffic at the booth," says Tom Slaughter of C.A.M.P. Technologies, who says that attendees were interested in all aspects of the Camper -- from its completely outfitted trailer to durable all weather shelter.
Manufactured by C.A.M.P. Technologies, the RTV Camper allows the user to bring a full galley kitchen, geodesic framed shelter and supporting accessories where no other camp trailer can go. The rugged, outdoor sport trailer and shelter are built with a patented Titanite, geodesic support structure strong enough to withstand dry, wind driven, desert heat or cold, sub-zero conditions. The entire RTV Camper package weighs under 2,500 lbs, and is aerodynamically designed to tow easily for low fuel consumption and higher gas mileage figures than most motor homes, trailers or campers. It is also easy to set up, and can be put up or taken down by two experienced people in less than 15 minutes.
"The Camper is perfect for hunters and fisherman or anyone who is serious about the outdoors," says Slaughter. "It leaves little footprint on the environment but allows the outdoor enthusiast to spend days in the wilderness without compromising comfort."
Interest was generated not only by outdoor enthusiasts and hunters, but by law enforcement officials as well.
As an added bonus, the company also unveiled its new incident command post. Built for law enforcement, the TITAN Incident Command Post (ICP) system is a trailer and shelter combination that is designed to provide agencies with state-of-the-art mobile command capabilities. It includes optional interoperable communications equipment including satellite communications, Internet access and an integrated command and control system.
