NEW FUEL EFFICIENT RECREATIONAL TOWED VEHICLE DISPLAYED AT “AMERICA’S LARGEST RV SHOW” 

Orangeburg, NY – The RTV Camper joined the ranks of other smaller economy RVs at the 40th Pennsylvania RV & Camping Show, held from September 10 – 14 in Hershey, PA.

In line with a recent trend towards buying more fuel efficient recreational vehicles, more and more innovative companies are reducing the size of their RVs. 

The new RTV Camper is a unique recreational tent and trailer combination that weighs under 2,600 lbs, and is aerodynamically designed to tow easily for low fuel consumption and higher gas mileage than most motor homes, trailers or campers. 

Additionally, the Camper includes the comforts of home – such as running water, a power generator, storage space, a complete galley kitchen, flooring, shelter, plenty of room and optional bedroom, shower and bathroom facilities – all packed into a compact, lightweight, towable trailer. 

The Camper’s trailer features an 18” high ground clearance and heavy-duty tires for on and off road towing behind most recreational vehicles, even on rugged terrain, ensuring that it can be taken into the wilderness and travel does not have to be limited to camp sites or cleared areas. 

The RTV Camper’s military-grade, fully-enclosed attached tent comfortably accommodates a party of two to six adults with normal gear for extended outings or vacations. The tent uses the same Titanite composite frame and XYTEX cover material that is used for the Military-grade Deployable Rapid Assembly Shelter (DRASH) design (www.drash.com). The Titanite frame can easily withstand sub-zero or tropic temperatures and high winds, while the double-layer XYTEX cover provides optimal insulation properties. Additionally, the Camper has been fully tested at the Bosch Automotive Test Center for off road reliability and meets industry standards for recreational vehicles.

The RTV Camper comes in three sizes and packages – the Woodland, Sierra and Yukon Series – that can be customized with gear according to each customer’s requirements. 

Tent sizes range from providing 102 square feet of space to 309 square feet for sleeping, eating, cooking and even watching satellite TV.
