CAMP RTV - The Ultimate in RV Camping Gadgets and Luxury Packages

Both the RTV Camper's trailer and camp shelter use state of the art materials and manufacturing techniques to create the ultimate adventure travel camping experience.

The Trailer

A winner of the 2007 Thermoforming Division Conference "Best Twin Sheet Category Award" for best twin sheet construction, this adventure travel trailer is comprised of 11 twin sheet molds that form the body panels for the compact camping trailer.

Twin sheeting is the process of heating two sheets of plastic and then molding and sealing the sheets of plastic together during the forming process. The flexibility of the process allows the manufacturer to use different molds for the top and bottom sheets. In the case of the RTV Camper, the back sheet provides the structural integrity, while the front sheet gives it its sleek design and appearance. Additionally, all of the Camper's panels are completely recyclable, making as little impact on the environment as possible and providing the ultimate adventure camper trailer.

Additionally, the lightweight, aerodynamic trailer is extremely fuel efficient and designed specifically for off-road applications. The trailer includes a 4 inch steel chassis for superior suspension, steel-rimmed tires and an 18" ground clearance for travel on rugged terrain. Test data from independent vehicle testing agency, the Bosch Automotive Proving Grounds, documents that the RTV Camper is 60 percent more fuel efficient when compared to a traditional towable tent trailer.

The Camp Shelter
The Camper's military-grade double-wall camp shelter is based on the Deployable Rapid Assembly Shelter, or DRASH System that has been used extensively by the military for more than 20 years. Durable enough to withstand anything from driving rain to 60 mph wind gusts, it is also lightweight, portable, rugged, reliable and, most importantly, user friendly. There are no loose parts to misplace – just take it out of the bag and it’s ready to use in minutes. Camp shelter components include a ground cover, floor, windlines and a weather-tight seal between the shelter and trailer.

The camp shelter's pre-attached, double layer cover insulates the shelter during temperatures ranging from -50 degress Fahrenheit to +131 degrees Fahrenheit. It is also fire retardant and resistant to mildew, water and ultra violet rays. Its frame is manufactured from Titanite, a patented aerospace composite material that has 270 percent more flex strength than aluminum for the same diameter and cross sectional areas. This means that under extreme pressure it may bend but not break, keeping your structure intact.

The entire system is put together with the utmost care so that you know you are getting the best value available in adventure travel camping.
